SITE AIMS :

SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS :
Any modern standards compliant browser should work fine though the site is tested and supported on MS Internet Explorer and Firefox on Windows and Firefox and Camino on Mac. To use the online ordering system and online proofing you will need a working email address.
Safari Users : Older versions of Safari are seriously not standards compliant. Version 1.x.x doesn't properly support CSS so you need version 2.x.x or chunks of our site won't work. Some builds of version 2.x.x offer better javascript support than others.
We have purposefully designed this site to make minimum demands on customers systems. You do not need any special plug-ins, media players or runtime environments to use our site. We do however make extensive use of CSS and DHTML so older browsers are not supported.
Get an excellent SECURE browser here. . . . Mozilla Firefox, its a free download for Pc, Mac or Unix and regretably it works better on Mac than Safari!

If something fails to work check your settings :-
      Session cookies are needed for the Shopping Basket
      Javascript must be enabled for most things to work
      Your browser must support CSS (cascading style sheets)
      Some pop-up blockers can interfere with our site

HELP! :
There are always several help otions available.
HELP MENU : Always available from the main menu bar. Gives you access to a wide range of help and information pages, Howtos, FAQs, technical information and advice, etc., etc
CONTEXT SENSITIVE HELP : This is provided in two ways. HINTS - Displayed whenever your mouse is placed over an item that we think requires further clarification ONLINE HELP - Usually available from the sub menu. Displays more in-depth help and explanation in a small pop-up window.

SECURITY :
In designing our site we have been very careful to safeguard your security and privacy. We do not attempt to run any programs on your computer and for this reason have stayed well away from technologies like ActiveX and Java. Active browser content is provided by Javascript which cannot gain acces to your local system and is in no way related to Java though the names would suggest otherwise. Active server content is provided by programs that run on our computers - not yours.
Areas of our site that deal with online ordering and that collect your financial information are authenticated and the data you send is encrypted. These areas are covered by Thawte Inc. certification.
Any information we collect is used solely to enable us to do our job and is NEVER passed on to any third party for any other reason.
